About This Property
1359 The High Road was built in 1966 as a single family home by well-known Austin architect, John Placek who commissioned Harry Seemens and co. to build it. At the time the property was built, the human population of the area was sparse. Most of the land in the region was owned by Sterling Holloway and Emmett Shelton who started purchasing parcels of land in the mid 1950’s and are considered the founders of Westlake Hills.
