Zero Down Home Purchases are Back

Thinking about buying a home this year? If your plans are to buy one in Travis County, you may want to check out the Hill Country Home Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Program.

Now I know you are thinking that you probably make too much money to qualify. Or that you are not a first time home buyer. The good news is you don’t have to be a first time home buyer to qualify, and as long as you made less than $105,000 last year you qualify for this money.

So how much are we talking?

The Hill Country Home Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Program will give you up to 5% of the loan value towards downpayment. That could be as much as $15,000. Depending on the loan program, that could bring your out of pocket to ZERO.

Oh and did I mention it never has to be repaid? That’s right, it is a grant. As long as you move into the property for 60 days, you don’t have to pay that money back. How sweet is that!
